Tool #1, the most important (well, they are all important when it comes to your chronic pain) KNOWLEDGE.
To paraphrase Dr John Sarno “Knowledge is the key, knowing yourself and your relationship with pain can set you free”, and for some people just reading his book was enough reduce and even eliminate the pain.
The Tool is to acknowledge where in your body and what the feeling or feelings are that you are repressing. Once you can fully accept the repressed emotions, embrace them and take responsibility, the internal pain and conflict will cease to exist.
